long time, no type

Unfortunately I haven't been so good at keeping up on the blog! The summer has escaped me way to quickly and the realization for that set it a good 2 1/2 weeks ago when my daughter started kindergarten!

Yesterday having been the first day of fall I new I had to get started on my inventory for the upcoming holiday season.

First though, let me recap a little bit.

Several months ago my embroidery machine decided it was going to have some serious issues. I took it to 2 dealers and eventually after about 2 months the second embroidery machine dealer was able to figure it out (after replacing several parts with brand new peices!). During this time though I had been eyeing a brand new machine. Of course this was one of those machines that was only in my dreams! It's lovely peice of work really! An in between version of comercial machine and a home machine. At any rate by the end of the craziness with my existing machine, I had really researched this machine....internet searches, reviews, specs and all that. I was determined :) As you can guess I invested in this machine and now theres no turning back!

Thus far I have been super happy with the machine, exellent stitch quality and faster to!

Now after all that I have been catching up on orders and just trying to get ahead.

I have now added this stunner of a wallet to the shop

And also have the Sprout wallet and Lavender Branches wallet also available.

I have more on the way, including an autumn inspired Branches wallet (limited edition).

In closing I want to say I hope you had a lovely summer and here's to lots of baked apple pie and jumping in piles of leaves!

Life After Bears :)

So it's back to work after seeing the cute Bear Yesterday (see previous Post) and I finished up a couple of black and white wallets for the Shop. I have always loved the classy and classic look of black damask.

These Elephants just make me smile, hence the name "Happy Elephants"
I was glad to get into making some new fabric wallets since I had been focusing on embroidery designs for so long....It was a nice break.
Next up are some new Hipster Bags which have been long over due!
